Seminar In April A youth-parent seminar will be held in the Willow Creek Composite High School on April 3 and 4. The seminar deals with certain problem. areas and will have speakers on parent-youth com- munication; teacher-youth com- munication; working parents and the family; and alcoho and other drugs. The main goal of this seminar is to get people involved in meaning- ful encounters with each other to help develop attitudes of trust. Everyone is welcome to attend. Program For Centre The Claresholm Care Centre has developed an Adult Day Care Program for community residents. The program provides thera- peutic diversional, occupational or recreational activity for persons having problems adjusting to new situations, as a stepping stone between hospitalization and total recovery or, to provide a thera- peutic acegphre and socializa- tion for jicapped whose regular guardians are ill or on vacation. Claresholm Junior High's request for an outdoor education trip to Beaver Mines for 70 students in Grades 7, 8, and 9 was approved on Mr. Chartrand s motion. On a motion by Mr. Barr, Mr. and Mrs. G. Cote received leave of absence without pay for February 26 and 27. On Mr. Chartrand s motion, English students from the Composite High School received approval to attend a performance of Hamlet in Calgary. The principals and vice-princi- pals met with the board to discuss allocation of staff for 1976-77. Following this: meeting, the board approved a proposal to hold principals budget allotments at the present level for the coming year. It was also agreed on a motion by Mr. Miller, to raise the book rental by 1 in September 1976.
