REINECKE AGAIN HEADS TENNIS CLUB The annual meeting of the Clares- holm Tennis Club was held in the town office Monday night, with a larger representation of members than usdal present. President 0, -L, Roinecke presi The secretary's statement for last yenr showed that there wa a mem- bership:of 76, all paid up. This was an increase of 22 over 1929. Total receipts for the year were 565. including balance of 94.12 forward from 1929, Expenditures- totalled 485.28, leaving a balance in the treasury of 80.04.: Nearly half the expenditures were in permanent improvements, stich as rebuilding the fences, re-surtacing the courts, the refreshment booth, etc. It was decided to retain the same schedule of membership fees, viz.: Mon, 7.00; ladies, 6. nan and wife, 10.00; family tleket, 12.00; junior-membership, 12.to 16 years, 5.00, It fs understood that one court shall be reserved for Junior members during the afternoons, as they are not entitled to the privileges of the courts after 6:00 p.m. A practicing wall, 6x14 feet, will be erected for the convenfence of thoi who desire to check up on their strok- es. The refreshment booth will be closed in with a hinged front that will serve as an awning when opened for ase, dt was decided to enlarge the scope for the Reinecke Cup. The secretary will invite the clubs from High River and Vulcan to challenge for this cup, in addition to Nanton and Macleod. The Stayely club will not be in Position to challenge this season. Tt was also decided to alter the rules of competition so as to provide nine wonteste instead of eight, so that there could be no possibility of a tle, as Was the case when Nanton chal- lenged Inst season. There will now be men's singles, two ladies mixed doubles, oe doubles and one Indies doubles.
