Vance Rodewalt was the political cartoonist for the Calgary Herald newspaper. Issue: Federal politics; national unity and Quebec separatism. Two disabled beavers, legs amputated, using crutches, are compared: one wearing a shirt with a maple leaf, the other wearing a shirt with a fleur-de-lis.
