Translation of Provodiashch�ie puti mozga ; In this work, the first German translation of the virtually impossible to obtain 1877-8 Russian version, Bechterev describes for the first time the central tegmental tract,the connections of the inferior olive, the components of the cerebellar peduncles and the nuclear complexes in the brainstem reticular formation. He also described the superior vestibular nucleus (Bechterev's Nucleus).
