Remark regarding Mackie Family History of Neuroscience Collection copy: This is the second and final publication of the Tuesday lessons covering the 1888-9 academic year (the first series covered the 1887-8 year). As opposed to didactic lectures these represent Charcots "unrehearses, spontaneous" interactions with patients (which occurred on Tuesdays). These exercises drew observers from all over Paris and the World, and were a major factor in Charcot's fame during his lifetime.
