Bound collection produced weekly from July 5th, 1893 to December 27th, 1893. Mackie Family History of Neuroscience Collection copy has a reference to: Marie, Pierre, "Sur l'Heredo-Ataxie Cerebelleuse", p. 444. Remark: GM 4708.1. "Marie's Ataxia. By using Charcot's "clinico-anatomical" method Marie found ataxic patients at the Salpetriere, who did not have Friedreich's Ataxia (see which, had preserved reflexes, abnormal ocular movements and visual problems, with later onset. These were familial cases, who, at autopsy had atrophy of the cerebellum. I retrospect these patients had a variety of disorders, but the concept of familial ataxia helped define the non-Friedreich's syndromes over the years.
