Carbonate intraclasts are carbonate fragments that have been transported by tides, waves and storms. The internal structure of each clasts can still be seen but they have been rearranged and deposited together. The allochems in this sample are composed of micrite (carbonate mud) and deposited in spary calcite. Allochems are the recognizable grains present in carbonate rocks
