Gordon Gibbs was a prominent member of Calgary's amateur theatre scene in the 1950s. He served many roles in various Workshop 14 productions, including production director, publicity director, set designer and actor. Edna Pozer and Ron Hartmann, who played the married couple in 'The Fourposter', were also married in real life. Both Calgarians, they pursued successful television careers in Toronto. Both worked with Gibbs on numerous occasions.
