Three Normal Faults
This image was captured in Qinling central China and depicts three normal faults, two of which represent a conjugated set (left side of the image). These faults are in Cenozoic clastic sediments. The first fault is in the central part of the image above the individual in the green shirt. The second fault is to their right, and the third fault has an opposite dip and is located furthest right in this image. There is a graben structure in the right-hand third of this image. Faults two and three are dipping towards each other, and the central block is lifted relative to the outer blocks.
